Dillon Brooks looked at LeBron James signing with the 76ers and heard violins.
“I think he’s doing everything he can to get a last little ring,” Brooks said on N3on’s stream, adding that LeBron has “almost enough footage for a Last Dance documentary.”

Brooks doesn’t care. Asked to break down a hypothetical series, he told N3on the Suns beat Philly, 4-2, zero hedging, zero nuance.
This is Dillon Brooks doing Dillon Brooks things. Provoking the best player of his generation is basically a second job for him at this point. LeBron’s heard this movie before. He shrugged off the last round of Brooks trash talk in 2023 with “this is not my first rodeo.” Brooks dropped 33 on him in December for good measure.
But the documentary line actually has some teeth.
There’s real reporting that ESPN and LeBron discussed a Last Dance-style series. Maverick Carter shot that down personally, saying nothing like that is happening and that LeBron doesn’t even know when his last season is. So Brooks isn’t inventing the rumor. He’s just running with one that LeBron’s own camp already denied.
Doesn’t matter either way. LeBron signed for two years and $8 million to chase a ring with a loaded roster, and Dillon Brooks is going to have opinions about it until the ball actually goes up.
4-2 is a lot of swagger for a guy who hasn’t guarded LeBron since December.
