Warriors star Stephen Curry made the most recent cover of “Sports Illustrated,’ but that doesn’t necessarily mean he was happy about it.
Curry was pictured on the cover, locking arms with LeBron James and Roger Goodell, with head coach Steve Kerr behind him.
But apparently, that wasn’t enough, as he wanted Colin Kaepernick on the cover as well.
“That was terrible,” Curry said, via Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle. “…If you don’t have (Kaepernick) front and center, something’s wrong.”
It’s no secret that Kap and Curry are good friends, so it’s no surprise that he’s standing up for his buddy.
