Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has always had a distaste for President Donald Trump. Even before the protests over racial injustice began, Pop has been adamant about what Trump’s presidency would mean for the future of the country, and how it would look overseas.
Pop’s comments began before Trump was even elected into office, so it’s not like he was going to stop now. And with Spurs training camp beginning, he was asked about how he felt about Trump’s recent comments.
As usual, he did not mince words. Here’s what he had to say.
Pop also added that he and the Spurs organization would support any of the team’s players that chooses to protest the racial injustice in the future, so stay tuned.
